WHEN YOUR COMPLETED SAS  REQUEST IS RECEIVED:

  1. An evaluation is scheduled. The building contact person invites all of the people who can contribute to the evaluation process:

        Student- Parents- Specialists - Special Education Teacher- Support Staff -  General Education Teacher 

  1. The A.T. team synthesizes information, provides technical expertise, and assists the team in creating a plan to support the student. 

Following the evaluation:

  1. A report is prepared and forwarded to Special Services for review and approval.
  2. A copy of the approved evaluation is mailed from Special Services to the building contact person. The building contact person distributes a copy of the report to members of the original team and/or those individuals effected by the technology recommendation(s). 
  3. A member of the A.T. team will oversee delivery, set up, and initial training in the use of the technology.

When you are uncertain how to respond to a problem with the equipment or software, contact the A.T. team. They will be able to resolve the problem or forward you to an appropriate technician.
