Directions for using the Staff Development catalogue online

Go to https://inform.lwsd.org

  1. Enter your User Name and password
     

  2. Your User Name is your first initial and last name

    (If your last name is only four characters, the first two characters of your first name will be used. User names are six characters long.)

    Your password is “lwsd” (unless you have changed it during previous use of the VED system). Please change your password from lwsd.
     

  3. Please check to see if you have an email address associated with your account:

    Scroll to bottom of the screen labeled “Account Information

    If you do not have an email address listed, click on “Edit” button

    Change/add email address

    Click “Save”
     

  4. Click “Basics” on the navigation bar on the left
     

  5. Scroll down and click “Staff Development Tracker
     

  6. On the right, click the subject heading or learning community for the class you want.

    (If you prefer to browse the catalogue by date, you can click on “Course Calendar” in the left navigation bar. Click on the course title on the calendar screen and it will take you directly to the information/registration page.)
     

  7. Click the class title
     

  8.  Click the underlined section number of the class you want.
     

  9. This brings up a screen with all the course details. If you want to enroll in the class, click the “Register” button at the top.
     

  10. This brings up a screen that asks you to “Add” the class to your schedule.
     

  11. Your class schedule will appear. To add another class, click on “Course” in the left hand menu. Then click on either “Course Catalogue” or “Course Calendar” and repeat the process #6-10.  

    You can also drop classes from the class schedule screen.)
